Detailed Description:
Traditional Sioux Pottery is made from the red clay of the Black Hills (PaHa Sapa), sacred to the Lakota people, and a white clay from Kentucky. It is decorated with designs and symbols important to the culture and is signed by the artisan who created it. Wheel thrown pottery is a specialty of the Sioux Pottery. Each piece is original.

This is an old piece, used and it contains a few paint imperfections. It is glazed on the inside.
